Charlie Nasser, Vice President & General Manager

Charles is an electrical engineer who has been the lead designer of ground support and spaceflight instrumentation for satellite systems.  In this capacity he has had complete control over the hardware (analog/digital) and software needed to take a design from conception to launch.  Charles also conceived and developed an in-house EMI/EMC laboratory, which specialized in the testing and qualification of commercial instrumentation.  This endeavour was able to qualify over 20 previously untested devices within a year through his leadership in mitigating and redesigning these commercial products for compliance.  For over 20 years he has provided design and compliance consultations to clients in the Telecommunications, Commercial Electronics, Military, Aerospace, Automotive and Commercial Nuclear industries.

Charles has led a commercial test lab EMI/EMC/Product Safety Department to multiple accreditations in various industries and developed it into an industry leader.  During the four years previous to joining IQS, he has been the General Manager of Northeast Operations for NTS.  In this capacity he was responsible for all aspects of business including P/L, personnel, acquisitions, capital expenditures, financial projections, quality assurance and technical concerns for two test laboratories in Massachusetts and one in NJ.

Charles received his BSEE from Cornell University and has completed numerous certification courses in a variety of disciples.  Charles has presented the "Designing for NEBS Compliance" discussion at the first European NEBS Seminar and at the first TCG NEBS Seminar.
